We are delighted to be offering private events and dining, celebrations and wedding breakfasts at Bowley’s at The Plough. Hospitality has been in our family for generations and the art of hosting the perfect party, blending wonderful food, wine, atmosphere and, most importantly, service, is something we excel at.

We have a collection of dining spaces to suit any occasion from an intimate tasting menu celebration for your guests in The Dining Room; Canapés and Champagne in The Bar or a more relaxed experience on The Terrace. Or, for the ultimate occasion, hire all three spaces for exclusive use, our home is your home.

The perfect setting for any season, make your party truly spectacular by hosting your event in the terrace or garden in the summer, or add a touch of Bowley’s merriment and magic to your winter celebration. Choose from a selection of canapés and dishes that will be made by our award-winning chef and his team.

Group Bookings

Group Bookings over ten we offer a 3-course set menu or (set private dining menu) from midday till 2.30pm, Tuesday – Saturday. In the evening you can choose from either our 3-course set private dining menu or Chef’s Tasting menu, available Tuesday – Saturday, 6.30pm – 10.30pm (Group Bookings over Ten)

GROUP BOOKINGS GUIDELINES AND TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • BOOKINGS When your enquiry is received you will be made aware of availability and the options available to you. On making your booking you will be allowed up to 48 hours to confirm your reservation. This is done by providing valid credit/debit card details* If this is not received within 48 hours we will contact you to provide confirmation details. Please see ‘Cancellations, no-shows & late arrivals’ below

  • Group Bookings over ten we offer a 3-course set menu from midday till 2.30pm, Tuesday – Saturday. In the evening you can choose from either our 3-course set menu or Chef’s Tasting menu, available Tuesday – Saturday, 6.30pm – 10.30pm (Group Bookings over Ten)

  • We are happy to offer out tasting menu to larger groups by prior arrangement for lunch or dinner.

  • Our daily 3 course, 4 choice menus are available on Tuesday-Saturday

    We can supply you with a ‘sample menu’ in advance to view but these menus are subject to daily change.

  • If your group includes guests with special dietary requirements, please advise us in advance of your booking and we will of course be happy to provide suitable alternatives.

  • Cancellations no-shows & late arrivals

    If you need to cancel your function, we require seven days notice. Notice of cancellation given less than seven days before the event will incur a cancellation charge of 55.00 per person.

    We require that any change in the number of guests be confirmed to us at least 48 hours prior to your function.

    In the event that a confirmed booking does not arrive or a decrease in booking number, without prior notice, a no-show fee of 55.00 per person will apply.
