At Bowleys, The Nursery is more than a garden — it’s the heart of what we do.

Just 300 metres from our kitchen, it’s where the team grows the vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers that shape our seasonal menus. Tended daily with care and respect for the land, The Nursery reflects our commitment to sustainability and reducing environmental impact.

Our team guides guests through a culinary journey across the British Isles, we create a menu that not only showcases exceptional produce from dedicated small-scale farmers, growers, and conservationists—but also tells the deeper story behind each ingredient and the people who bring it to life."

What began as a small dinner for strangers has become a 22-cover restaurant built on passion, community, and a deep respect for produce. We grow much of what we serve in our own kitchen garden, just minutes from the pass, and work closely with small-scale farmers and conservationists who care for the land as much as we do.

Inspired by the natural elements that shape the landscape around us to create a calm and grounded atmosphere that reflects the spirit of the region. Every detail has been considered to connect our guests not only to the food but to the place itself.

Our aim is simple: to help guests connect with where their food comes from. Every dish carries the story of a person, a place, and a purpose.
